> Apron Feeder
|
TENGL Apron Feeders are engineered for heavy-duty operation
and for primary or subsequent application stages. These custom-built
machines are designed to suit individual requirements of capacity,
size and material handled.
|
 |
|
Construction
based on undercarriage components.
-
Impact loads are absorbed by pans of rolled alloy/ cast alloy/ manganese steel material depending on application and are similar to heavy-duty track-type undercarriage shoes.
- Pans are bolted to forged link chains supported on heavy-duty lifetime lubricated rollers.
- High strength pans resist abrasion and withstand heavy impact loads.
- Short pitch and precision-machined chain provides noise-free discharge of material with negligible impact on receiver.
- Chain and roller flanges maintain rigid alignment of pans in relation to skirt.
The integrated apron conveyor system is provided with thyristor controlled speed regulation with DC drive. AC variable or fixed speed drives are available as optional.
The TENGL apron feeder also has an integral matching scraper conveyor with built-in drive to handle spillage. This systemensures an economic layout and increased belt conveyor length vis-à-vis a conventional system with spillage chute. The feeders are specially designed to minimize maintenance. |
|
Pans (Flights).
Unique rolled alloy steel pans.
Rolled alloy steel pans are widely used on dozer applications.
They have a proven record of performance in most abrasive
and trying conditions. These pans have been incorporated in
TENGL apron feeder. |
 |
Pans are manufactured from special alloy steel and do not require
any wear resistant lining. TENGL also provides cast steel/cast manganese steel pans for special applications. Pans have adequate section modulus to withstand impact loads with in-built toughness for shock resistance. |
|
Deck Rollers with cradle assembly.
Trouble-free performance. TENGL feeders are lifetime lubricated
and sealed using Exclusive Metal Faced full floating seals.
Deep hardening Boron alloy steel is heat treated to provide
a hardened wear resistant tread surface and a tough impact-resisting
core.
|
|
Deck rollers are supported on custom-built
cradle assemblies. These cradles permit easy assembly and
disassembly of rollers by marginal lifting of the chain. The
cradle-deck roller assembly can be replaced as a unit module.
These features reduce downtime and minimize maintenance problems.
Pins and Bushings.
Sealed chain prevents entry of dirt and minimizes wear.
All mating components and contact surfaces are selectively
hardened for wear resistance and backed by a tough core.
-
Pins are induction hardened for high wear resistance.
-
Bushings have tempered ends, which eliminate cracking
breaking during assembly and disassembly.
Chain
Links.
Close
tolerances ensure interchangeability.
-
The chain can be easily assembled or disassembled by opening at the master link.
-
Rail surface of chain link is induction hardened to increase strength and resistance.
-
Fine grain size prevents spalling or chipping.
|
|
Master Links.
Incorporate unique modular concept.
For easy assembly and maintenance, TENGL provides
a modular chain assembly with master link section. TENGL master
links allow convenient installation of deck assembly.
|
| Drive
sprocket Rims/Segments.
Unique forged and precision machined sprockets.
-
A unique design of an odd number of teeth ensures better distribution
of workload and increases wear life.
- Only TENGL heavy-duty apron feeders are provided with
precision machined and hardened sprocket segments.
- Sprocket segments are easily replaced without any special
tooling.
Idlers.
Designed for Even distribution of loads.
- Idlers are heavy-duty designs with steel rims to distribute
loads evenly over broad contact surfaces.
- With lifetime lubrication seals, they are maintenance
free.
|
| Open
pair reduction.
Economical single stage gear reduction.
- High built-in gear reduction enables use of smaller capacity
gearbox.
- Gear teeth are induction hardened to increase wear life.
- Gear parts are protected against ingress of dust by a
metal gear guard.
